Tess Salmon I Founder and Director

Tess has extensive experience developing multifaceted communications strategies and proactive and reactive media, identifying critical issues, crisis communications, speech writing, stakeholder management, and key message development and delivery across the private sector, government and not-for-profit organisations.

She has worked as a Journalist, Newsreader, Editor, Writer, Producer and Senior Media Adviser to former NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant and former NSW Police and Emergency Services Minister Michael Gallacher.

Tess has extensive media contacts with journalists and newsrooms and fosters media relationships for her clients, managing their reputations and brand development in line with their core beliefs and profile.

Tess is logical, analytical, critical and a problem-solving thinker. She performs brilliantly in crisis and high pressure situations. She has 'Secret' level security clearance with ASIO and was the only political adviser who remained with the Deputy Premier in the NSW State Crisis Centre throughout the Martin Place Siege.

James Phillips I Senior Cameraman

James has been working as a cameraman in the news media industry for over 15 years.  He has covered federal, state and international political events, local and international news & current affairs, as well as national and international sporting events. 

His roles at the Nine Network have included shooting, producing and editing stories which he has covered for Nines News broadcast programs such as National Nine news, The Today show, A Current Affair and 60 Minutes.  He has covered a wide range of international stories, including working from Nine’s international bureaus in London and Los Angeles. 

James has worked closely with some of Channel Nine’s most experienced journalists including Peter Overton, Karl Stefanovic, Leila McKinnon, Mark Burrows, Laurie Oakes, Damian Ryan, Robert Penfold and Allison Langdon.  James specialises in visual communication in the news media field.  He has extensive experience in producing proactive news stories and reactive breaking news stories.
